ChatGPT and Claude are good at brainstorming, but they can’t see how many people actually search for an idea. Ask one for the search volume of a keyword and you get a guess. Give it a search volume tool and it can check.
We tried that with a question founders ask a lot: “I’m building a website builder for small businesses. Which market should I localize for first?” Claude, connected to the seodata.dev MCP server, looked up the numbers across Germany, France, Spain and Brazil and answered: localize for Germany first.
The reason was a single word.

In Germany, “website builder” gets about 2,900 searches a month, while “website erstellen” gets 27,100. In Brazil it’s 720 against 18,100 for “criar site”. A word-for-word translation of an English landing page would target the smallest number on that chart.
A few other things the data showed:
- “chatgpt seo” gets about 1,000 searches a month in Germany, more than double the 390 in the US.
- “claude seo” barely registers in Google Ads data yet, while Google Trends shows interest rising to the level of “chatgpt seo” over the past year.
- CPC is a useful signal of intent: “chatgpt seo” is a small keyword, yet clicks cost around $18, which points to buyers.
